The LIFE CB SI project aims to enhance LIFE programme implementation in Slovenia and neighboring countries through training, workshops, and networking to improve project proposal success and knowledge sharing.

Introduction
With recruitment of new personnel, a variety of trainings, workshops, one networking conference, as well as dissemination activities, the LIFE CB SI project will enable a quantitative and qualitative improvement of LIFE programme implementation in Slovenia, as well as in the region of neighbouring countries.
Peer Exchange and Learning
By peer exchange and learning from other Member States' experiences, the Competent Authority personnel will gain additional know-how on preparing and submitting successful applications for environmental projects eligible for funding under the LIFE programme. This will also include synergies with other EU funding programmes.
Knowledge Dissemination
The knowledge acquired will be spread through different trainings and workshops. These will focus on:
- Elaborating project ideas
- Preparing project proposals
- Educating on matters of special importance for projects co-financed from the LIFE programme
- Understanding EU added value, transferability, and replicability
- Preparing financial tables and all information on LIFE programme financial instruments
Networking Activities
As networking is very important for building up know-how and exchanging experiences, a networking platform (regionally organised in neighbouring Member States) will be developed.
Conferences and Newsletters
Additionally, two networking conferences will be organised. Monthly newsletters with news on LIFE CB SI project implementation, as well as other news related to the LIFE programme, will be prepared and sent to approximately 2000 contact points.
