Projectdetails

Introduction

In order to increase the average number of Polish projects with LIFE funding, the Capacity Building Project (TA CPB) will develop additional activities to the existing ones of the Polish NFP. This project will focus on three types of major issues. Most of the activities will be sectoral/thematically oriented, taking into account the most prospective areas in Polish conditions defined in an analysis to be prepared. The project will contribute to the creation of conditions for proper cooperation between applicants.

Groups of Activities

The following groups of activities are foreseen:

  1. Developing and Improving NCP Training Offer
Improving the quality of the current NCP training offer regarding the preparation of LIFE applications and projects. Special focus will be held on actions that enable equipping future LIFE specialists with the practical knowledge necessary to prepare good projects and applications, particularly in the areas considered to be the most promising.

  2. Conducting Information Activities
Conducting information activities aimed at reaching the entities with the greatest potential, operating in the most promising thematic areas covered by the sub-programs:

    • Circular Economy
    • Quality of Life
    • Climate Mitigation and Adaptation
    • Clean Energy Transition
Such activities are intended to present the conditions for the implementation of LIFE projects, facilitate familiarization with priority project topics, and encourage contact with the NFP and the use of its support. For better dissemination, LIFE NCP will establish improved cooperation with national contact points for other EU instruments, as well as the national network of information points of European funds operating at the local level.
  3. Support and Promotion of Tools and Initiatives
Support and promotion of the tools and initiatives established at the EC/CINEA level for supporting contacts and cooperation between applicants, such as the Partner Search tool or brokerage meetings. Proposed actions will also create synergy with the implementation of the LIFE NCP Network project.
