Bac3Gel is a biotech company that develops and distributes advanced substrates to harness the full power of microorganisms.

Innovative Substrates

Bac3Gel substrates are the first that combine three-dimensionality with gradients of oxygen, nutrients, and physical properties. This unique combination allows the growth of complex microbial communities and currently unculturable bacteria that depend on these microenvironments to thrive.

Mission

Bac3Gel's mission is to ultimately foster the discovery of new antibiotics and bio-based solutions to feed the ever-growing demand for innovative treatments. Additionally, we aim to develop microbiome-modulating drugs to address 90% of diseases linked to human microbiome imbalance.
