Introduction

Renov-AID focuses on the development of the Slovenian OSS concept (integrating physical and digital elements) and its operation in different key layers.

Layer 1 – Full Scale Implementation

Full customer journey elaboration for the Slovenian urban municipalities Ljubljana, Kranj, and Velenje covering approximately 1/5 of the country population.

Layer 2 – Expansion

Beyond Ljubljana, Renov-AID tailors the OSS concept for other Slovenian urban municipalities. This fosters the broader adoption of efficient renovation practices by focusing their core activities on the first stops of the customer journey:

Layer 3 – Wider Impact

Renov-AID's impact is not limited to specific Slovenian cities. It actively engages in the dissemination and exploitation of the OSS concept across other municipalities and relevant stakeholders’ groups in Slovenia, catalyzing sustainable change at a regional level.

Additionally, the project facilitates the exchange of valuable insights and lessons learned at the EU level as well as in Balkan countries, contributing to the broader renovation landscape.

The project significantly contributes to Slovenian cities' climate neutrality goals, addressing energy poverty and improving living conditions. By introducing an innovative OSS model, it aims to enhance the ease and affordability of home renovations, aligning with EU directives and boosting the annual renovation rate to over 3%.
