Stakeholder Cooperation Service Hub and Platform for Accelerated Home Renovation in Plovdiv Region
The MultiHome project aims to enhance home renovations in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, through a collaborative service hub, achieving significant energy savings and investments while promoting sustainable practices.

Introduction
The MultiHome project will establish a self-sufficient integrated home renovation model encompassing strong technical expertise and multi-level cooperation with the renovation market stakeholders to accelerate the implementation of the Renovation Wave and its supporting policies in Plovdiv Region, Bulgaria.
Project Objectives
Thanks to its structured cooperation with all 18 Plovdiv municipalities as well as building/homeowners and renovation providers in Plovdiv Region, the MultiHome project will:
- Develop a dedicated Service hub and Platform that will support 1,700 dwellings in single- and multi-apartment buildings in implementing ambitious, deep renovation actions throughout the project lifetime and beyond.
- Develop a long-term roadmap and policy interception documents to support the future renovation of the residential building stock in the region.
Interactive Events
The MultiHome project envisages numerous interactive and participatory live events for networking and promoting advanced renovation solutions to the building/homeowners, including:
- Marketplace brokerage and match-making events
- Renovation Champions and Trusted Supplier Roadshows
- Other related events
Tools and Support
It will also develop a Citizen Renovation Toolbox and a “Trusted Supplier” label ensuring high quality and professional conduct in enhanced renovation value chains. Additionally, it will cooperate with financial bodies to elaborate financial models to support the building/homeowners in finding match funding for their renovation.
Knowledge Transfer
The MultiHome project will provide knowledge and capacity transfer for:
- 5 local authorities
- 2 other regions
- Numerous EU practitioners
Consortium and Support
The Consortium consists of 5 Bulgarian organisations – a leading energy agency, the second largest Bulgarian city, and three technical partners representing the renovation market stakeholders and homeowners. The project is welcomed by 33 Letters of Support (LOS) from public authorities and private institutions.
Expected Outcomes
The project will achieve the following outcomes:
- 30.7 GWh/y primary energy savings
- 11.8 GWh/y final energy savings
- 6,200 t CO2 savings
- Total RES generation of 2.1 GWh/y
- Trigger 22 million EUR investments in renovation actions
Additionally, over 170 experts will be trained and more than 30,000 people reached through dissemination.
