BUILD UP Skills Netherlands

Introduction

The overall aim of BUS-NL is to revitalize the National Qualification Platform, while broadening the scope to reflect the emerging reality and needs of the entire building value chain. The rebooted National Qualification Platform will, facilitated by the BUS-NL consortium, update the Status Quo Analysis and the National Roadmap.

Objectives

BUS-NL will achieve this objective by gathering key national stakeholders while expanding the scope by involving new stakeholders into the National Qualification Platform.

Status Quo Analysis

BUS-NL will, as part of the Status Quo Analysis, take into account the expertise and lessons learned in ongoing and finalized BUILD UP Skills, Construction skills, and Erasmus+ projects.

Transition Elements

In order to accelerate the renovation wave, BUS-NL seeks synergy between four transition elements:

1. Energy
2. Material
3. Climate adaptation
4. Digitisation

This will be achieved by addressing the mix of skills needed within the value chain involved in sustaining the built environment.

Consortium Composition

The BUS-NL consortium consists of a group of network organizations linking together all relevant stakeholders in the entire building value chain and related upskilling and education systems.

Collaborative Approach

We believe that by connecting to existing networks and initiatives on a national level with the aim of working together in a co-creative manner, a strong and decisive roadmap with broad endorsement can be delivered.

In order to involve the manufacturers and wholesale companies, we have gathered support from several key players such as HIBIN, Technische Unie, and Rensa.
