BUILD UP Skills II Poland
The BUILD UP Skills Poland project aims to enhance construction workers' skills in energy-efficient technologies to achieve 3% annual building thermo-modernization by 2050 for climate neutrality.
Projectdetails
Introduction
The aim of the BUILD UP Skills Poland project is to develop a strategy for improving the skills of workers in the construction sector at all levels of education (4-8) in energy efficient building technologies, especially those undergoing deep renovation.
Objectives
In the end, it will be crucial to prepare a sufficiently large group of workers in the building sector to be able to achieve the targets of 3% thermo-modernisation of buildings per year. Such a rate would allow changing the energy efficiency level of 90% of existing buildings in the perspective of 2050 and contribute to the achievement of climate neutrality by the Polish economy.
Educational Goals
In order to achieve the above-mentioned educational goals, the project will:
- Rebuild the National Build-Up Skills Platform with the participation of key national stakeholders.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the implementation of the 2011 Roadmap and update the Roadmap taking into account actions up to 2030 and policy recommendations; and to adopt the Roadmap for implementation by the stakeholders.
- Develop a status quo analysis, identifying current and future skills development needs for building renovation.
