Projectdetails

Introduction

Existing major industries run on UDP protocols and have high latency and low resilience in their communication networks, affecting their output and causing millions of euros in losses or unrealized revenue.

Impacted Fields

Examples of the highest impacted fields include:

  • Mining
  • Energy
  • Maritime
  • Space sectors

Challenges with Current Protocols

TCP-based protocols can overcome these challenges but are limited by transmission delays.

Solution Overview

Delta Cygni Labs has developed XRTC, an elastic and resilient TCP-based protocol for API acceleration, together with the European Space Agency (ESA), to serve delay and disruption-prone business cases.

Benefits of XRTC

We offer:

  • Faster communication
  • Better connectivity
  • Enhanced control over internal communication

These features address day-to-day challenges across mining, energy, maritime, and space sectors, allowing them to draw business value from space-grade communication capabilities.

Future Plans

With the help of the EIC accelerator, we will:

  1. Launch the European deep-tech XRTC to the key verticals
  2. Perform market validation
  3. Expand into the global market
