Projectdetails

Introduction

Since the ancient Greeks, musical text has been preserved as written or "sheet music". In the last 100 years, the preservation of audio recordings has evolved from non-digital (vinyl discs, cassettes) to digital mediums (CDs, MP3 & streaming) with new technological possibilities as a consequence.

Current State of Sheet Music

Sheet music has remained static: it is mostly available on paper or as paper-scan files.

Enote's Vision

Enote sets out to evolve sheet music from paper and PDF scans to native digital content. This evolution aims to apply modern-day technologies such as artificial intelligence and big data to solve key issues faced by modern-day musicians.

Application Development

Enote is developing an application for tablets and smartphones which, for the first time in history, will give musicians access to a comprehensive library of native-digital sheet music, including artificial intelligence functionalities.

Innovative Features

This application allows for groundbreaking features that address core problems of “static” sheet music itself and the limited possibilities of interaction that come with it.
