Introduction
At the current deforestation rate, it is estimated that there will be no forests left in between 100 to 200 years. As such, restoring woodlands has become a priority for nations but remains a massive challenge worldwide.
Challenges in Forest Restoration
Destruction is easy, but forest restoration has inherent problems of:
- Scale
- Speed
- Efficiency
- Cost
The modest results of massive reforestation projects show that the current state-of-the-art solutions cannot get the job done fast enough. Forestry is significantly behind, compared to other sectors, in digitalization, precision, and efficiency.
Solution: Forest Maker
Forest Maker is a new-generation integrated automated planter platform. It is an all-in-one solution that performs the entire planting and data collection process without stopping, guided by software for the creation of a digital twin of the forest for precise and easy management.
