Introduction
LIFE ClimArchiBase project creates a climate educational platform for experts in architecture and real estate. The aim of the project is to provide ongoing education on carbon neutral buildings among architecture and construction professionals and to ensure the design and implementation of sustainable building projects that support environmental mitigation and adaptation to climate change.
Target Group
The target group of the project includes investors and professionals in architecture and real estate who are involved in the design of construction projects. This group consists of:
- Architects
- Landscape architects
- Developers
- Project managers
- Energy specialists
- Sustainability consultants
- Planners
- Urban planners
- Representatives of state and local governments responsible for investments
- Students of architecture and construction
- Others
Project Components
LIFE ClimArchiBase project consists of these main parts which will ensure achieving the environmental impact of the project:
- Educational programmes in sustainable real estate and architecture (WP3)
- Online information platform with interactive application for sustainable project design (WP4)
- Support of design and construction of the projects in the form of consultations (WP5)
- Policy recommendations (WP6)
Supporting Activities
Other work packages support the successful realization of the activities above. These include especially:
- Marketing and dissemination in online and physical channels (WP7)
- Other work packages for project management, monitoring, and continuous improvement
Project Partners
The project is realized by four leading non-governmental organizations in the field of sustainable architecture, urbanism, and real estate:
- The Passive House Centre (Centrum pasivního domu, CPD)
- The Czech Environmental Partnership Foundation (Nadace Partnerství, CEPF)
- Rethink Architecture Institute (RAIN)
- The Czech Green Building Council (CZGBC)
These organizations have a very strong network of members and collaborating companies which will be part of the project development and realization.
