Introduction

RAISE-PT: Roundtables for Action and Investment in Sustainable Energy in Portugal will be a platform in which all types of stakeholders can discuss and develop actionable outputs to enhance sustainable energy investment policy in Portugal.

Objectives

RAISE-PT aims to establish a permanent collaborative community which will work towards improving the policy framework for sustainable energy financing, namely in energy efficiency and renewable energy, and generate further investment in this area to support the clean energy transition.

Motivation

The project arises from the motivation to create a path to improve the policy framework for investment in the clean energy transition in Portugal in public, private buildings, and industry sectors.

Approach

It aims to enhance national policy and create a continuous dialogue to promote sustainable energy investments by creating and maintaining a permanent collaborative community that will conduct regular national-level roundtables.

Expected Outcomes

The permanent collaborative community will produce policy outputs and mobilize investment to energy efficiency and renewable energy projects. RAISE-PT will, thus, create the main forum for sustainable energy investments in Portugal.
