Projectdetails

Introduction

Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is a severe mental disorder, annually affecting 3.2% of the population, with a global market size estimated at €7.5B. Current treatments’ success is marginal, costly, and associated with severe side effects.

Innovation

GrayMatters is the first to introduce a non-invasive digital therapeutics device that harnesses brain plasticity to help PTSD patients control abnormal brain-region activity. Our patented innovation uses machine learning to convert EEG signals to an fMRI-like signal of the amygdala, enabling patients to learn to self-control their amygdala activity level using an affordable EEG-Neurofeedback device.

Clinical Trials

Initial clinical trials on stress resilience and PTSD patients showed significant positive clinical results.

Team Experience

The founders have over 25 years of experience in commercialization, healthcare, and technology, with several startup exits and IPOs.

Partnerships

Letters of Intent (LOIs) include top mental institutes and world-renowned Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in PTSD psychiatry.

Recognition

GrayMatters was recently chosen as one of 8 innovative companies by Nature magazine.
